The Unity School of Christianity metaphysics reflects one link to the original mystical teachings of Jesus. These concepts are being validated by current interpretations of the 20th Century discoveries of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Gnostic Gospels found at Nag Hammadi.  Unity was cofounded by Myrtle and Charles Fillmore to inspire a "practical" approach to the essence of Christianity which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus over his crucifixion.  Christianity was intended to be a way of life, not just a body of theory and theology. Unity teachings are highly consistent with the major mystical traditions that have given us the world's great religions. These concepts are now being validated on the cutting edge of modern science as well.  To understand the principles advocated in Unity is to celebrate the highest in one's self, and to enhance the capacity to love, forgive and celebrate the best that exists in each of us.   This work is intended to be an application of these principles in creating an in depth working paradigm for healing the effects of human evil and replacing it with good.
